A little bit about me

My name is Petra, I am in my forties and I am a mother.

I come from a counselling background supporting individuals in the public and private sector. I offer individual therapy for clients struggling with health problems, addictive behaviours, disordered eating, grief and loss, work stress, anxiety, depression and relationship issues.

I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space to talk. I believe everyone is unique in their counselling needs and I offer a person centered approach. I work together with my clients in helping them move from feeling upset, flat or stuck to feeling more freer in themselves and their life through the counselling process.

Some of the therapeutic approaches I use are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Strengths Based Therapy.

Through the counselling process you are able to explore and understand your triggers, gain insight and self awareness.

I know it can be really hard to make the decision to come to counselling. If you are reading this and feeling flat, stuck or struggling in your relationships, having a confidential supportive space to talk and get support is available.
